Rental agreement entered into for data center property in Kautokeino
Arctic Core, a subsidiary of Harmonychain, offers services to customers who want to establish traditional data centers in Northern Europe and North America. The data center industry in Norway is experiencing increasing demand. Arctic Core AS has today entered into a lease agreement with a data center group of significant size for the lease of the company's two development plots in Kautokeino in Finnmark. This means that the project is already 100% leased on a 5-year contract for data center use. Start-up is expected within the next 6 months. The parties can terminate the agreement if progress in relation to construction permit and establishment of all necessary infrastructure is not satisfactory within the next 6 months. When the data center comes into operation, Harmonychain's revenue will be correlated with activity levels. The company's rental income is thus assumed to be somewhere between 0 and about 4 million euros in total over the 5-year period for an activity level between 0 and 10 MW. If more capacity becomes available, revenues may be higher. In addition to the properties in Finnmark, Arctic Core AS has more than 1,000 square meters of premises in Halden under development. We are also looking for more data center locations to rent or buy. Our goal is to build up a portfolio of 5-10 data centers for rental and own operation within the next 5 years.
